‘Khalti’ has arrived with good news for all the policy-holders of Citizen Life Insurance. Now, policy holders of the insurance can pay their insurance premium directly from ‘Khalti’. The service is intended to encourage digital transactions and make all types of payments easier to pay. This service aims to make bill payment easy with only a few taps for customers who pay late due to time constraints or have to take time off to visit offices.
Regarding the new service, Binay Khadka, Chief Executive Officer of Khalti shared: “We are working to ensure our users can seamlessly execute any kind of financial transactions like this to adopt the digital habit so that they can save both time and money. ”
To pay Asian Life Insurance premium via Khalti, one needs to:
• Log in to the Khalti app and tap on the “Insurance” icon on its home screen
• Select “Citizen Life Insurance”
• Fill “DOB” and “Policy Number” and Tap to Get details
• Finally, press on the “Proceed to Pay”, Select ‘Payment Option’, and Pay
For premium payment above Rs. 5,000 users should have their KYC verified with Khalti which also enables users to enjoy a wide range of payment services. Those without Khalti accounts can also make payment through any of the Khalti Sewa Kendra of Khalti spread all across Nepal.
