KATHMANDU
ESewa and Upaya have signed an agreement to work in collaboration where Upaya will provide non-exclusive House-Moving (Ghar Sarai) and Delivery services (Dhuwani Sewa) as a ‘service’ category in the eSewa app.
Both eSewa and Upaya, who have been working to revolutionize the country digitally, have now partnered together to provide an all-in-all logistics solution to their customers. In the initial stage, eSewa will include ‘Ghar Sarai’ service in their app, allowing eSewa app users to request house moving service by filling out a form. Users will be able to fill out the required details and even choose the vehicle requirements of their choice. Upaya will then provide all the requirements of logistics and oversee the overall process.
From the month of Ashoj, eSewa will provide diverse services where eSewa will include ‘Dhuwani Sewa’ as a new service interface in the app, allowing eSewa users to request Upaya’s spot and rental trips for Bike, Cargo van, Mini truck, and Pickup truck services. For users to request delivery services, eSewa will incorporate Upaya’s trip creation web portal URL into their application. Upaya will facilitate the delivery service request through its internal trip management system.
‘Our partnership with eSewa will help us to cater to the basic needs of common people for house moving and bulk deliveries. The combination of eSewa and Upaya ensures easy and convenient delivery and payment services in Nepal’, says Mr. Suman Rayamajhi, Managing Director of Upaya. The joint operation will begin promptly at the end of Bhadra, allowing users to take full advantage of this service designed primarily for general convenience.
