Bhatbhateni Supermarket’s manager, Meen Bahadur Gurung, has transferred more than 1 crore rupees for the support of earthquake victims. Gurung has transferred 1 crore, 11 lakh, 11 thousand, and 11 rupees to the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund.
The amount will be used for the rescue, treatment, relief, and rehabilitation of the affected families from the destructive earthquake that occurred on Friday night in Jajarkot. The Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund has received support for this purpose.
On Monday morning, Gurung and his wife transferred the same amount through a check to Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal (Prachanda). Gurung, who is the first businessman to provide such a large amount of support from the private sector for earthquake victims, mentioned that he did it for the earthquake-affected people.
