The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index decreased on Wednesday. Compared to Tuesday’s index, it decreased by 17.93 points and reached 1876.60 points.
On Wednesday, a total of 285 companies traded 3,359,601 shares, resulting in a turnover of over 1 arba and 1 crore rupees. The highest trading was seen at Sonapur Minerals and Oil Limited, with a turnover of 6,2897,030.60 rupees.
Similarly, Vijaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited also saw an increase of more than 9% in its share price on Wednesday’s stock market.
Investors in the share market suffered the biggest losses at Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower. The company’s share price has decreased by more than 9 percent.
