NMB Bank has released its unaudited financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year. According to the publicly released financial report, the bank has seen a general increase in its own profit in the first quarter. During this period, the bank’s own profit increased by 6.53%.
During the review period, the bank earned a net profit of NPR 96.32 crore. In the same period last year, the bank had earned a net profit of NPR 90.41 crore.
Similarly, according to the publicly released financial report, the bank’s own interest income increased by 8.29% and its own fee and commission income increased by 6.07% in the first quarter. The bank’s total operating income increased by 5.89%, and its operating profit increased by 6.51%. With the increase in its own interest income, the bank’s own profit has also increased.
In addition to profit, the bank’s earnings per share (EPS) have also increased during the review period. During this period, the bank’s EPS increased from NPR 1.29 to NPR 20.98. Similarly, the bank’s price-to-earnings ratio (P/E ratio) has increased by a factor of 9.96, and its net worth per share is NPR 159.69. The bank’s distributable profit during the review period is NPR 1 arba 8 crores 45 lakhs.
