A team of MPs is set to visit India to study monkey control. The team, including members of the parliamentary agriculture, cooperative, and natural resources committees, as well as 10 veterinarians and five forest rangers, will visit Himachal Pradesh in India.
According to a committee member, about 18–19 MPs will be on this trip. The committee president, Dr. Arju Rana, has stated that the Indian side has extended the invitation and that the trip is being planned on that basis.
However, the date of the trip has not been finalized. Although the MPs will study monkey control as part of the trip, they believe the visit will be beneficial for farmers affected by monkey attacks.
