KATHMANDU
Laxmi Sunrise has relocated its branch to expand its services in Biratnagar Metropolitan City.
The bank has relocated one of its two branches in Hanuman Das Road, Biratnagar Metro-7, to a new location in Puspalal Chowk of Biratnagar Metro-3, about 5 kilometers north of the previous location. Customers of the relocated branch can still access services at the remaining branch in the same area at Hanuman Das Road, Biratnagar Metro-7.
With this move, the bank will now be able to expand its services in newer and previously underserved areas. The newly relocated branch is equipped to offer a full range of retail banking services to its customers and expand its services to small and large businesses.
Additionally, to provide a more organized and consolidated service to its customers, the bank has merged two of its branches in Birtamod and started joint operations from the location of the erstwhile Sunrise Bank, i.e., Mukti Chowk, Birtamod Municipality (4, Jhapa). Similarly, two branches at Hakimchowk, Bharatpur, have also merged and will provide services to customers from the location of the erstwhile Laxmi Bank, i.e., Hakimchowk, Bharatpur Metro (10).
Laxmi Sunrise’s network now comprises 256 branches across 59 districts, 321 ATMs, 28 extension counters, and 131 branchless banking agents. The bank actively promotes green banking and digital channels such as mobile and internet banking to complement the growing number of branches as a part of its ‘bricks and clicks’ strategy, allowing customers to reach us through a channel of their choice.
